Description
The defendant, Halvor E. Blyden, Jr., was found guilty by a jury of the crime of escape from custody in violation of 53-162 of the General Statutes. He appealed from the judgment rendered on the verdict, assigning error to a portion of the court's charge, the court's refusal to make various charges, and the court's refusal to allow the defendant to examine a state's witness about certain matters claimed by the defendant to be relevant to [165 Conn. 524] his case. The assignments of error not argued in the brief are considered abandoned. State v. Chisolm, 165 Conn. 83, 328 A.2d 677; State v. Ferraro, 164 Conn. 103, 105, 318 A.2d 80; State v. Keeler, 164 Conn. 42, 43, 316 A.2d 782.
